 ME AS A PERFORME

 I never participated in a play for many people. I only participated in two plays in my old school. The first was when I was 7 years old. It was a work for Christmas, we had to learn the text in a week. I had a good stage experience with my teammates, but I also had a lot of shame.

The second performance was last year in the Latin class. This performance was more complicated because I was the main character and I had to talk a lot, this is a thing that costs me because I am shy. But in the end everything went very well.

What I like most about theater is being able to meet new people and express myself on stage having different roles. I also believe that I can connect better to myself.

The thing that I find more challenging in theater will be the time to talk because I am very scammed. In addition, language does not help me when it comes to expressing myself.

What I would like to learn during this year is a saber to express myself better in front of people, to know how to transmit feelings on the stage and to learn the language

Reflection Session In Class

                             

                         WEEK FROM 23 TO 27

During this week in theater classes I have experienced many new things, such as the feelings that a song can cause me to hear.

In this intense week we have done many exercises but each one helped me to improve on stage.

       

During the first two days we did exercises to keep our focus on ourselves, looking a point.

       

We also did exercises that helped us to know how to control our body on stage with tempo.

       

In the middle of the week we focus more on coordination with the people who are with us on stage. Sometimes with our eyes, but the most complicated thing was when we had to guide ourselves through the audition.

       

But the think that I preferred in the last days was that we focus more on how to feel the music by letting ourselves be carried away with the movements of our body.

                      WEEK FROM 30 TO 4

This week we focus more on moving on stage with our classmate and creating a scene.

During this week, we also did the exercises we do at the beginning of last week, to relax and focus on our self. 

In the last week we also had to move on stage but with lights.

The last exercise we did this last weeks included everything we have learned in these two weeks; TEMPO, SPATIAL RELATIONSHIP, THE DURATION OF MOVEMENTS, GESTURES, THE WAY OF MOVING (CIRCLES, LINES, ...)





In these two weeks I learned a lot about theater, but I want to know more

Day 1 IB Theater

1. A memorable performance that I participated in was in my Spanish school when I was 7 years old. I was very nervous because it was my first performance. This performance was about a Christmas story. In this performance I was a pastor.


2. A memorial performance that I have seen was is London, The Lion King. It was impressive because there were lot of people acting with many colors. It had a lot of scene changes.
